Diabetes Tracker by MyNetDiary App Reviews

Adjustable

This app can be as complex or simple as you want. Keeps me on track and keeps me doing the right things. Have had no issues with food entries but the scanner database seems limited. For most things a word search works fine. Seems to have a lot of flexibility. Buy it, I was hesitant at first but ask yourself how much your meds cost? Isnt your health worth it? Other cheeper apps out there may work but I like this ones interface. Using a few months now. App is very reliable and continues to work well. Word of caution, only track what you have too as the app contains the ability to track a lot of information. Over time putting all the information in is time consuming. For future improvements timers for meds or other reminders would be really nice. But make them adjustable and have ability to turn them on or off. Update: Still great app but last update placed the weight chart key right on top of the readings. Perhaps the chart key should be at the bottom of the chart, not where the graphing occurs. Update: one final suggestion. Yes you can snap a photo of the screen but having the ability to export a PDF of all the charts containing all of my information would really complete the package.

Great app

This app has really helped me lose weight and get serious about managing my prediabetes. It has a big food database and is easy to use. Together with glucose monitoring, it will help you better understand what foods trigger your highs and lows.

A fairly complete app

This works pretty well. Would that the charting were better at showing trends and averages.

Completely satisfied.

Ive used MyNetDiary daily for over a year, with the diabetes module. Its comprehensive, easy to use, fast and easy to read. I couldnt manage my diabetes without it.

Thanks for making it easier to track!

Ive been a die hard Diabetes Pilot user for 7 years but this app is the first to make logging, tracking, planning and over all planning simple and easier!!!!! This app has a great user interface and is a great example of ease of use. Thank you

Diabetics Check This Out

After trying another app which has a lot of great ratings, I found it was outdated and tedious to use. Dont be fooled, this app is far superior and much easier to use. I am using it to track my blood glucose, meals, exercise, weight, and medication. This app makes it a breeze. The nutritional information has the most entries I have found, and for the foods not in there, its easy to add. This app is definitely the better choice.

Well thought out app

Ive been using the Diabetes version of MyNetDiary for several months now, after using the regular version off and on for a few years. Early this year I got diagnosed with pre-diabetes, and slightly high LDL cholesterol, so I took it upon myself to figure out what I could do to prevent going worse with these conditions. I used MyNetDiary to track everything ate, and also tracked my daily fasting blood sugar and my other regular metrics like weight, BP, pulse etc. With that (and feedback and tips and articles provided by MyNetDiary), I was able to discuss with my doctor and nutritionist the steps I could take to avoid Type 2 diabetes and cholesterol reduction. Im now heading towards a vegan diet, and avoid any saturated fat and sugar I can. Feeling great. I am also taking mild medication for BP and cholesterol - which I may be able to dispense with soon. I was never overweight, but now I have no extra fat around my waist, and generally feel really good. Of course, Im doing yoga and going to the gym too. Summary: MyNetDiary is an easy to use tool to make you aware of the areas you should focus on. A big plus is that it easily transfers all its data to my iPhone native health app, from which I can pass it on to my doctor or medical network (which has its own sophisticated app linked to the iPhone app).

Very good app

Finding more useful features then originally expected. Would like more integration with fitness devices to automatically log steps or workout calories burned.
